The Stars of the Little Prince
From November 9 to 17, 2024, a team of researchers, science communicators, and pilots took to the skies of Morocco aboard two light aircraft for a unique mission: bringing astronomy to schools in remote regions.
African Astronomical Society - Outreach and Public engagement
In parallel with the AfAS-2024 conference, we organized impactful public outreach activities in collaboration with the outreach network in Morocco. These initiatives aimed to inspire and engage the general public and schools, and to promote the representation of minorities in STEM fields. The success of this outreach program inspired similar efforts during the IAU General Assembly in South Africa last August.
Spacebus Morocco
In 2016, alongside a group of passionate colleagues, I co-founded Spacebus Morocco. Our goal was simple: to bring astronomy and space sciences to people across Morocco, no matter where they lived.
National Outreach Coordinator
Since 2021, I have been serving as the National Outreach Coordinator (NOC) for Morocco. NOCs are national representatives of the International Astronomical Union’s (IAU) Office for Astronomy Outreach (OAO).
Atlas Dark Sky Foundation
As the former vice president of the Atlas Dark Sky project, I am proud to work alongside Prof. Zouhair Benkhaldoun and his team on this groundbreaking initiative, both nationally and internationally.
